Die Näherin

Meaning "The Seamstress" in German, this is a blog about the trials and tribulations of costuming for the SCA. Why German? Well many of my outfits revolve around German Landsknecht garb. I have a Northern French/Southwestern German persona and my boyfriend has a landsknecht persona. I also have a deep appreciation for the look, and the feel of wearing German garb. So join me on my travels back through time, as I try to conquer the mechanics of renaissance costuming.

ONLINE TONIGHT

I will be online tonight (Wendsday May 23rd, 2007) 7pm-9pm Central time to answer ANY questions you have about German Garb. If you post your questions here first-I will make sure I have the correct answers prior to 7pm. If no one has any questions, I will tackle the problem of Andres Hosen Fitting Issues (creating a handout now).

I am not sure if I will be on my webcam, be creating a podcast, or what. I will let you know by 5pm tonight, but suggestions are greatly appreciated.
